Welcome to Kingdom Guidebook 3! The third edition of the Kingdom Guidebook contains mainly stats of characters up to the end of the beginning of the Batle of Eikyuu Arc.

Chapter 1: Chronicles of Kingdom

This chapter contains a recap of the story of Kingdom through the perspectives of Shin and Sei respectively, highlighting their milestones so far. I will do a rough summary of the timeline and milestone in this chapter.

Shin

  • Born: 259-258BC.
  • 10 years old (249BC):
    • Dreams to become a Great General with Hyou after getting excited about the news of Mogou taking down 2 castles.
  • 14 years old (245BC):
    • Hyou was killed during Seikyou’s rebellion. Met and fought for Ei Sei, King of Qin. Met Yotanwa, took back control of the capital of Kanyou and beated a number strong opponents
    • Fought at Dakan Plains under Duke Hyou against Wei in his first battle. Beat the chariot unit and took control of an important point in the battlefield with Bokukoshin.

  • 15 years old (244BC):
    • Joined Ouki to fight the invasion of Zhao at the Battle of Bayou as a 100-man commander.
    • His unit was given the name of “Hi Shin Unit” by Ouki himself, an independant unit tasked to kill Fuuki to cripple the Zhao.
    • His unit was attacked by bushin Houken, killing a number of his 5-man commanders, including Bitou.
    • After Houken gave Ouki a fatal wound, the dying Ouki showed Shin the vision of a Great General while they were trying to break out of the Zhao encirclement.
    • The Zhao army retreated and Shin received the recognition of Ouki before his death.
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Fuuki and Gika
  • 16 years old (243 BC):
    • Promoted to 300-man commander. Met Ouhon and Mouten for the first time.
    • After forming an alliance with Zhao, Qin turned towards Wei again.
  • 17 years old (242 BC):
    • During the battle of Sanyou, Shin joined the war under Mougou. He witnessed the atrocities of a Qin 1000-man commander and slayed him. With the help of Mouten, Shin manage to escape severe punishment.
    • Shin was assigned to the second army of General Eibi. Shin was able to boost the morale of the army with his speech after fighting against the strong Wei army.
    • Fighting with Gakuka and Gyokuhou units. As Shin went to assist Gakuka unit and Gyokuhou unit against Rinko, Kyoukai fought against the enemies herself.
    • During the duel between Mougou and Renpa, Shin had a clash with Renpa and told Renpa the last words of Ouki. As Kanki took down the Wei headquarters, Renpa admitted defeat and Qin won the war.
    • Shin as promoted from a temporary 1000-man commnder to a permanent 1000-man commander.
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Rinko

  • 18 years old (241 BC):
    • Joined Duke Hyou’s army during the coalition invasion.
    • Defeated Mangoku
    • Defeated at the south passage and met Sei at Sai
    • Defended Sai for 8 days at the south wall
    • At the 7th day, when they used up everything they have got, reinforcements arrived
    • Despite being injured from the fighting at Sai, Shin manage to wound Houken in their duel
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Mangoku
    • Promoted to 3000-man commander at the reward ceremony

  • 20 years old (239BC):
    • Promoted to 4000-man commander. Commanding 5000 soldiers in HSU. Sent to Tonryu by the secret order of the king. Started using a glaive instead of his sword.
    • The battle of Choyou against Wei begins. Led his 5000 strong unit against Gaimou of the Wei Fire Dragons.
    • With the help of Ten’s tactics and Ryukoku’s assist, they manage to fight back Gaimou and took the Wei headquarters. They pursued Gouhoumei and killed the Wei Fire Dragon, Reiou.
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Reiou
    • Promoted to 5000-man commander at the reward ceremony

  • 21 years old (238BC):
    • Quelling the Ai rebellion. Commanded 10000 troops at Sai to stop the Ai army from taking Kanyou.
    • Arrived at Kanyou to save Sei’s child in order to foil Ryofui’s plan to kill Sei’s heir.
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Hanroki
  • 22 years old (237BC):
    • Participated in the battle of Kokuyou Hills. Shin joined Kanki in this battle after getting to know that Sei wants to revive the 6 Great Generals system.
    • Managed to capture the right side of the central hill after crossing a raging river, making up for his earlier mistake.
    • Slain Keisha in a duel
    • Had a disagreement with Kanki’s way of doing things which is against is idea of a Great General
    • HSU is strengthened at the end of the battle with the addition of Naki and the archer brothers.
    • Headcount of Shin from this battle: Keisha

  • 23 years old (236BC):
    • With the strategy of SBK, Shin participated in the Invasion of Western Zhao, with the aim of taking the Zhao second largest city of Gyou, and later promoted to a General commanding an independent army.
    • Shin and Yotanwa took the castle of Retsubi under the instruction of Ousen.
    • Assigned to the left wing at the battle of Shukai plains to take the head of Kisui.
    • Fought Gyou’un, a fellow instinctual general in a duel.
    • Slayed Gakuei in a duel, foiling Gakuei’s attempt at avenging Keisha.
    • With Ouhon fallen, Shin fought and killed Chogaryuu in a duel, losing one of his comrade, Shousa, in the process.
    • Arrived at Riboku’s headquarters and duelled Houken to the death, forcing the Zhao army to retreat.
    • Received the family name of “Ri”, promoted to General at the reward ceremony after the end of the campaign.
  • 25 years old (234BC):
    • Joined the invasion of Zhao. In the battle between Kanki’s army and Kochou’s army, Shin was sent to reinforce the left wing, only to find the Gyokuhou army broken in pieces.
